五年級上冊《Chinatown in America》教案

學習目標：

e?s a Chinatown in New York！ There are lots of Chinese shops and restaurants there.

2.用There be句型描述事物

3.給朋友發一封email,介紹一個自己遊覽過的城市。

教學過程：

一、熱身複習

出示長江黃長城的圖片，問：”How long is it?引導學生用It?s…回答。複習詞彙trees,flowers,shops,supermarkets,buildings等

二、任務呈現與課文匯入

show a picture and say:”This is a picture of my favourite place. What can you see in it?介紹說：”This is a picture of the Great Wall. There ?s a long wall . there ?re many trees…” ??再出示一張唐人街的圖片，問：Do you know where it is ? What can you see in this picture?

三、課文教學

聽錄音，回答Daming是否想念中國，為什麼？ Where is Chinatown? What is it like?學生聽錄音，從書中找出問題的.答案，學生回答後教師板書There is a Chinatown in New York. There are lots of Chinese shops and restaurants there. There is Chinese dancing.

老師放錄音，學生跟讀課文。請學生書中的圖片，描述圖中有什麼並用There is和There are說句子

全班一起完成AB練習1.先讓學生討論如何完成這封Email,然後帶領全班朗讀例句和提示詞，再播放錄音。 ??全班完成 AB 練習2,請大家看書上的第一幅圖，並朗讀例句。看圖2-8,使用”there is /There are句式說出圖中有什麼。請學生回答後寫出來。

四、任務完成 ?

老師請學生們一起描述教室裡的物品，如：There ?s a blackboard, There are many chairs/ow,desk,pen,pencil,bag,girl,boy等。

五、課後作業

給自己的朋友發一封email,介紹自己遊覽過的城市。
