1) due adj. 預定;預期;預計

後邊引出預期的時間、地點等,還常常構成短語be due (to do something)或be due (for something)。

2) I know表示說話人對所談的觀點、內容已瞭解,無需多說,相當於漢語中“我早知道了;我全都瞭解”這樣的意思,區別於許多日常交際場合中表示“我明白了;我知道了;我懂了”的用法。

已經很晚了,你應該休息了。

注意,當我們獲知對方提供的資訊後,常用I see. 表示“我知道了;我明白了;我懂了”。

古人說:“凡事預則立,不預則廢。”強調無論做什麼事都要預先謀劃,事前設計。現代教學尤其注重設計,科學的教學設計,既是體現教育目的性、計劃性、針對性和預習性所必需,又是順利實施教學方案、調控教學過程的前提,也是確保教學效果、提高教學質量的保證。英語教學不僅是一門學科,也是一門藝術,形成英語教學藝術特色的重要因素之一就是教學設計。作為一名中學英語教師,研究和掌握課堂教學設計,是抓好英語教學必不可少的基本技能。而“課堂教學永遠是一門遺憾的藝術”,但是科學 、有效的教學反思可以減少遺憾。我國著名心理學者林崇德先生提出:優秀教師=教學過程+反思。作為一個教師一生工作也許會有30年,如果他從不進行反思,那麼他也許只是一年工作的30次重複。新課程要求教師不僅要成為教學研究的主體,而且要成為反思的實踐者。我也時常在教學中反思自己的教學方法、教學設計和教學效果是否完好令人滿意。以下是我對人教版八年級下冊Unit 8 Why don’t you get her a scarf? Selfcheck部分的課堂教學反思:

這個單元的主要話題是談論如何提建議、比較東西的質量及送禮之道。5月21號有老師來聽課,而我當時正好教到本單元的selfcheck(自我檢測)部分,這裡有一篇短文和一些檢測練習。針對課文內容我做了如下的安排:一、學生聽磁帶,感知課文。二、學生閱讀短文,理解文章大意。三、聽讀課文,重複課文。四、討論:“什麼禮物是最好的禮物?”五、作文,寫出適合送給自己父母的生日禮物及原因。我在C0702班先試著上了這一內容,上完課後我發現班上的學生非常的聽話,總是被我牽著走.我要求做什麼,他們就做什麼,學生始終處於被動中,可是這樣的學習是不會有利於學生的長遠發展的`。我總覺得這堂課學生參與面不廣,回答問題不積極,參與討論的學生少,能說到點上的同學更少,他們似乎也沒什麼好說的,作文部分更糟糕,能寫出幾句話的人很少,我本人覺得這堂課沒達到原來的教學目的和應有的教學效果。

針對這種情況,我對教案做了重新調整,第二天在C0705班上調研課,這一次,我取得了很好的教學效果和反響。我根據教學目標和教學內容做了如下調整:首先,在這節課中,我採用了“任務型”的教學途徑,先熱身複習了前面學過的單詞、短語及句型。我製作了PPt課件,運用了26副圖片,讓學生複習常見的禮物,用簡單的句型:What’s this? It’s a/an… 和What are these? They are..來讓學生反覆練習本單元及以前學過的禮物名詞。再提問學生:What do you think of it/them?讓學生根據本單元所學過的句型和比較描述的單詞回答:It’s /They are cheap/expensive/special或是:It’s /They are not interesting/special/original enough.這樣,他們就熟悉了單詞和句型。接著,我給了另外一個任務;假設你的媽媽或是爸爸要過生日,你不知道該送她/他什麼禮物,你向你的好朋友請教,讓他/她提建議。在這個步驟,我給出了20副不同的圖片供學生選擇,同時提供了基本句型:

A: What should I get…for her/his birthday?

B: How about…?

A: Oh, that’s/they’re…

因為任務明確,學生有了明確的目標,他們的積極性很高,利用前面複習過的內容,他們很快就會做對話,參與踴躍,效果顯著。

然後,在這堂課的短文閱讀前,我設計了幾個讀前問題:

1. Have you ever received some gifts?

2. What are they? Which do you think is the best gift? Why?

3. When did you get it?

4. Who gave it to you?

學生們非常興奮,議論紛紛,各抒己見,談論自己的經歷及見解。然後,我要求他們邊聽磁帶邊閱讀,讀完兩遍後,我針對本文給了五個判斷正誤的句子,他們很快就找到了答案,令我欣慰不已。針對文章內容,我給了學生討論的話題,

讓他們先小組討論後,每個小組再推薦一名同學用下面的句型來報告他們的觀點。Report: We think gift giving is …for the students because…We think a/…is the most popular because…

學生在得到這個任務後,非常激動,興致勃勃地發表自己的看法,希望組長能取長補短,同時希望自己這一組的見解是班上最獨到的、最令人信服的觀點,學生的學習興趣達到了高潮,氣氛熱烈而融洽,雖然同學們很活躍,七嘴八舌的,但是並不顯得課堂亂。在聽取組長彙報每組意見時,他們忍不住熱烈鼓掌,不住點頭,組長們運用自己所學過的知識,侃侃而談,下面的同學佩服不已。這種活動的設計也正是《新課標》中所倡導的:教師應依據課程的總體目標並結合教學內容,創造性地設計貼近學生實際的教學活動,吸引和組織他們積極參與.這樣學生可以通過思考,交流和合作等方式,更好的學習和使用英語,完成學習任務。

最後一個教學步驟中,我設計了男女同學競賽遊戲,根據本單元的重點和難點,依據由淺至深、從易到難的原則,我設計了幾個不同題型的練習,讓學生搶答,答對者加分。第一個題型:Fill in the blanks with the words given.

第二個題型:請根據句意及首字母提示, 用適當的單詞完成下列句子。第三個題型:用括號中的動詞的適當形式完成句子。第四個題型:根據漢語提示完成句子, 每空一詞。每一種題型給了5道題,從選單詞到寫單詞再到寫片語,依次增加難度,體現了題目的梯度。儘管稍有難度,但是絕大多數題目學生能做出來,他們信心十足,舉手發言積極,被點到名字的同學很大聲地說出自己的答案,沒被點到名字的同學似乎有點失落。整堂課結束後,得到了聽課老師的一致好評,大家認為學生參與面廣,運用英語表達自己觀點的能力強,學生的主動性得到了很好的發揮,他們的見解新穎獨到,課堂氣氛活躍,重點難點突出,很好地達到了課時教學目標。課後,我詢問了學生,他們覺得本堂課學到了不少,掌握了該學到的知識要點,收穫很多。不過,聽課老師也給了建議,認為複習步驟用時稍多,圖片可以更少而精。這樣學生在對話練習時,更能自由發揮,而不是拘泥於老師給的圖片上的內容。我十分贊同這建議,認為考慮得有欠周詳,需要多反思。

通過同一內容兩堂課的教學效果比較,我深深覺得:教學反思是一種有益的思維活動和再學習活動。一個優秀英語教師的成長過程中離不開教學反思這一重要環節。教學反思可以進一步地激發教師終身學習的自覺衝動,不斷的反思會不斷地發現困惑,“教然後而知困”,從而促使自己拜師求教,書海尋寶。“我思故我在,我思故我新!”教學反思促使我們不斷反思自己的教學,進行揚棄、集優、儲存,從而走向創新,教學反思的過程就是師生不斷輝煌的過程。本人會不斷努力,勤於反思,刻苦鑽研,提高自己的教學能力和教學質量。
