除夕的下午，爺爺和爸爸一起貼對聯，我也過去湊熱鬧。東看看，西瞧瞧。這時爸爸問我：“你知道我們為什麼要貼對聯嗎?”我回答：“知道一點點，喜慶唄。”“也對吧，對聯是為了表達人們祈求新年福運的美好心願。現在我們貼好了對聯，就不能往外扔東西了，連垃圾也不能扔，一直要到大年八年級才可以扔東西。這樣就表示把財圈在家裡了。”爸爸接著說。

除夕的傍晚，由家裡的最長者帶領全家去“拜山祭祖”。在先輩的墳前點上紅燭和香，擺上祭品，以表對先輩的懷念。這也是對他們的尊敬。
