Language points:

Greek language: The word gymnos means naked in

Greek, as athletes and gymnasts didn’t wear any clothes.

Gym is short for gymnastics and also is the word for the

building in which people practise gymnastics.

being performed 是動詞-ing 形式的被動語態,作定語

-ing 形式的被動語態是由 “being+done” 構成,

eg. being shown/being repaired/being built

①The houses being built by our company will be completed soon.

still unknown. -ing 形式的被動語態除了作定語外也可以用作其它成分.

①He didn’t mind being left at home.

②He came here without being asked.

③Being lost can be a terrifying experience.
