Step Ⅰ. Greetings

Greet the whole class as usual.

Step Ⅱ. Revision

T:Yesterday we learned the grammar-Modal verbs:had better,should,ought to and their negative know we can use them if we give advice or opinion about we also know“had better”is less strong than“should”or“ought to” let's do some exercises to see if you have mastered at the screen.

Translate the following into English.

1.你最好休息。

2.你最好不要吃不熟的水果。

3.對水果你應該認真些。

4.你不應該吃那麼多垃圾食品。

5.你應該更努力地學習,取得更大的成績。

T:You are given five minutes to translate I'll ask some of you to read your translation.

Suggested answers:

A Recipe of Wonton
