where引導的是什麼從句

引導主語從句：

where用於引導主語從句時，通常可直接位於句首。

1、Where we stay doesn't matter. 我們住在哪兒沒有什麼關係。

2、Where I spend my summer is no business of yours. 我在哪裡過暑假不關你的事。

3、Where he has surpassed every other English writer is in his ballads and songs. 他勝過英國其他作家之處在於他的民歌與歌謠。

有時也可在句首使用形式主語it，而將由where引導的主語從句置於句末。如：

1、It's not known where she went. 她到哪裡去了沒人知道。

2、It doesn't matter where we go on holiday. 在假日裡我們到哪兒去都行。

3、It's a nightmare worrying where the children might be. 擔心孩子們在哪裡簡直是一場噩夢。

引導表語從句：

用於引導表語從句，主要用作連繫動詞be的表語，此時句子主語通常是this或that。

1、That's where he lives. 那就是他所住的地方。

2、That's where you are wrong. 這就是你不對的地方。

3、This is where our basic interest lies. 這是我們的根本利益所在。

4、That's where I first met her. 那就是我第一次遇見她的地方。

5、This is where they bottle the milk. 這就是他們用瓶子裝牛奶的地方。

6、This is where I part company with the professor. 這是我和教授的意見相左之處。

7、This is where the waters of Amazon flow out into the sea. 這就是亞馬孫河入海的地方。

8、This is where we change from car to bus. 這就是我們從小汽車換乘公共汽車的地方。

引導賓語從句：

where用於引導賓語從句，主要用作動詞的賓語。

1、He asked where she lived. 他問她住在哪裡。

2、He asked where he was to put it. 他問他該把它放在哪裡。

3、He asked where the station was. 他問車站在什麼地方。

4、The book doesn't say where he was born. 書上沒說他是在哪裡出生的。

5、Anybody will tell you where the bus stop is. 誰都能告訴你公共汽車站在哪裡。

6、If you read the instructions，you'll see where you went wrong. 你要是看一下說明書就知道你錯在哪兒了。

where用於引導賓語從句，有時可用作介詞的賓語。

1、She called me over to where she was sitting. 她叫我到她坐的那個地方去。

2、We have to consider the question of where we can sleep. 我們得考慮在何處安歇的問題。

3、We have no clue as to where she went after she left home. 我們對她離家後去往何處毫無線索。

4、As if she was unsure of where she was，she hesitated and looked round. 她彷彿茫然不知身在何處，猶猶豫豫向四周打量。

where引導賓語從句有時可視為the place where之省略。

From where I stood I could see everything clearly. 從我站的地方我一切都看得清清楚楚。

引導定語從句：

where用作關係副詞引導定語從句時，其先行詞應是一個表示地點的'名詞，並且關係副詞where在定語從句中用作狀語。

1、Is this the place where it happened? 這就是事發地點嗎?

2、What is the name of the town where you live? 你住的那個城市叫什麼名字?

3、That's the hotel where we were staying last summer. 這就是我們去年夏天住過的旅館。

where除可用於引導限制性定語從句外，也可用於引導非限制性定語從句。

1、We live in the mountains，where life is hard. 我們住在山裡，那裡的生活很艱難。

2、Then he moved to Beijing，where he lived for 10 years. 他後來搬到北京，在那裡住了10年。

注意，where引導定語從句時，其先行詞除了是表地點的名詞外，有時也可能是某些抽象名詞。

1、It's put me in a position where I can't afford to take a job. 這使我陷入一種不能接受此工作的境地。

2、She had got to the point where she felt that she could not take any more. 她到了她覺得自己再也不能忍受的地步。

3、Later in this chapter cases will be introduced to readers where consumer complaints have resulted in changes in the law. 在本章的後面部分，我們將為讀者介紹一些事例，說明消費者的投訴已經使法律作出了修改。

5引導狀語從句

where引導狀語從句時，主要用於表示地點，其意為“在……的地方”。

1、The thread breaks where it is weakest. 線從最弱的地方斷。

2、Hide it where curious eyes won't see it. 把它藏在好事者看不見的地方。

3、We'll pick up where we finished yesterday. 我們從昨天停止的地方繼續進行。

4、They waved to us to stay where we were. 他們向我們揮手，要我們停在原地。

where除指地點外，有時還可表示條件、處境等(可有許多靈活的譯法)。

1、Where the money is，there is power. 有錢就有勢。

2、Where there is a will，there is a way. 有志者事竟成。

3、He said he was happy where he was. 他說他現在處境很愉快。

4、It is your fault that she is where she is. 她今天落到這個地步都怪你。
