單元教學內容
1．用學過的句型引出新知，教學生如何用英語表達自己的觀點。
（1）複習表達自己喜歡的句型。
（2）教會學生詢問並陳述自己對某事物的觀點、看法。
2．記住下列單詞及短語：
（1）單詞：sitcom (situation comedy) , super, host, guest, chat, belt, interview, wallet, fashion, surprised, though, twin, while, opinion, cap
（2）短語：soap opera, TV listings, modern English, road to health, man and nature, hair clip, key ring, yours sincerely, stand the idea, no right
3．掌握的句型：

10．教師請學生拿出課前準備好的一張電視報，用英語說出自己知道的電視節目，不完整、不準確的教師進行糾正和補充，並把本單元出現的電視節目名稱板書在黑板上，請學生跟讀並熟記：

12．教師把生詞：host, guest, chat板書在黑板上教讀，讓學生識記新單詞，並讓學生默看書上3b內容，教師扮演"Host"，學生扮演"Stuart"，共同完成3b對話填空：1．Yes, I do. 2．like it 3．I don't like it. 4．Modern English 5．I like it.

學生看黑板熟記新單詞，根據教師要求積極動腦，舉手扮演 "Stuart"。全班其餘同學認真聽老師和同學的對話，檢查自己所填內容是否正確
13．教師把新片語agree with you板書在黑板上，教讀、識記，請學生在本子上寫出自己喜歡或不喜歡的電視節目，然後4人小組活動，調查自己同哪位同學擁有共同喜愛或不喜愛的節目，請幾個同學向全班說出自己的調查結果。

單元教學建議
1．在教學本單元的新內容時，可先複習一冊上期六單元和十二單元的內容，以舊帶新、循序漸進地引導學生進入本單元的學習。讓學生明白一種意思有多種表達方式，並能在實際中恰如其分地運用自如。
2．教師在教各類電視節目名稱時，可依據本地電視節目內容，適當增加學生的知識面，讓學生大膽地說出自己已知的各種電視節目名稱及內容，提高學生積極參加到各類對話活動中去的興趣。
3．現在每個單元涉及到寫的內容已增多，目的是讓學生逐步地把學到的知識能夠在實際交際中靈活應用，所以，建議教師在完成本單元的教學任務後，讓學生寫5至10句的短文，表述自己對某人、某個電視節目、某物等的看法和原因。
