口語交際的特點決定了口語交際能力的綜合性，它由多種因素構成，其中主要因素如下：

1、良好的口語能力

口頭語言是藉助語音及其變化來傳情達意的，而漢語語音變化是比較複雜的.，區別又比較細微，要恰當、準確地運用語言來表達，就必須有較好的語音能力。

2、敏捷的思維能力

口語表達要經過內部言語→選片語句→外部語言三個環節，其過程幾乎閃電般的快捷。因此說話時，嘴上說的是剛剛想過的，而心裡想的卻是馬上要說的，就是這樣現聽現想，現想現說，不斷把自己的意思和情感完整、清晰地表達出來。三個環節環環相扣，中途任何環節出了問題就會結結巴巴，影響口語交際的效果，只有思維敏捷，反應迅速才能靈活應變，應答如流。

3、得體的舉止談吐能力

表現：①姿態自然，舉止大方。站，自然站正，自然挺胸，全身放鬆。說話時面帶微笑，不伸舌頭，不做鬼臉；②用語恰當，禮貌待人。能根據不同的物件、不同的場合及不同的談話內容，說恰當得體的話，還能根據表達的需要，正確使用禮貌用語，加強口語的表達效果。
