教學目的：
使學生掌握本課的四會單詞（如：father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister, family 等）
以及句型：
Come and see my family!
關於 of 的用法：a picture of my family.
the name of her cat.
教學重點：人物關係及 of 用法。
教具準備：生詞卡片、幻燈、計算機、圖片。
教學過程：
１．複習提問：
Ａ．Where is the pencil (r...) ?
It's on / in / behind / under the...
Ｂ．（出示小鳥圖片）What picture is this?
It's a picture of a bird.
Ｃ．同樣方法出示另外幾張圖片，讓學生複習 of 的用法：
It's a picture of a cat(car,hill...).
２．匯入新課：
開啟幻燈，出示 Jim 一家人的照片，教師自問自答：
What picture is it?
It's a picture of Jim's family.
重複此問答，並出示生詞卡片，教 'family'
３．揭示課題：
Unit 11 Come and meet the family!
重複這一句子，並教 'come' 和 'meet'
４．看幻燈：Look at the picture, What's that?
It's a picture of Jim's family.
Whl's this man?
(He's Mr 's Jim's father.)
出示生詞卡片，教 'father'
５．用同樣方法，教生詞'mother','son','daughter', 'brother', 'sister'
６．提問：How old is Kate? Do you know?
(Sorry, I don't know.)
Kate has （有） a cat, Is the cat in the picture?
(No.)
７．看幻燈，出示另一張圖片（ Jim 的家譜）
通過看這張幻燈片，讓學生複習所學生詞，並掌握人物之間的關係。
８．開啟計算機，進行練習：
Ａ．用 father,mother 等詞填空。（略）
Ｂ．做選擇填空。（略）
９．唱一首歌 'The spelling Song'
１０．做聽寫練習，並回答：

【教案點評】：
該課為國中第一冊１１單元４１課，通過 Jim's Family Tree進行名詞所有格的教學，同時本課出現有關人稱的１１個新單詞，如 father、mother 等。該課運用了計算機、幻燈、圖片等組織教學，起到了多種媒體優化組合教學的效果。課堂教學中學生單詞學習興趣倍增，課文中人物關係表達清晰，有效地進行了名詞所有格的教學。在鞏固練習階段，通過計算機編出了八個填空題和６個句型轉換題，學生通過上機操作，提高了單詞的鞏固率。本課的計算機軟體水平尚可提高，最好能做到隨機出題，自動評判，並在軟體中加入表揚與鼓勵的內容，使軟體水平進一步提高。
